My Name is Nicola. I’m a qualified counsellor offering warm, grounded and supportive therapy for adults in Romsey, Eastleigh and online. I believe therapy should feel safe, steady and human a place where you can talk openly without pressure, judgement or expectation.
People often come to me when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, burnt out or unsure how to move forward. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you explore what’s been happening and understand what you need next.
I chose the name Wildflower because I liken counselling to planting seeds together and seeing which ones grow (don’t worry, there’s no tree-hugging required unless you want to). We all carry many different parts within us, each one as unique and beautiful as a wildflower.
Why I became a Counsellor

I’ve always wanted to support people in a way that helps them feel less alone. I understand how overwhelming life can feel, the anxiety, the low moments, the grief, the sense of being lost or unsure. Those experiences shaped my belief in the importance of gentle, compassionate support.
What continues to surprise and inspire me is the quiet joy of witnessing clients’ small steps forward, the moments where something clicks, or a bit of hope returns, or they begin to see themselves with more kindness. Those moments matter.
Being truly seen and heard can change everything, and that’s the kind of space I aim to offer. For me, therapy is about human connection, honesty, and being unapologetically yourself in a confidential environment, without expectations from the outside world. It can help you notice things from a different perspective and understand your experiences in a kinder, more compassionate way. Work through things gently at your own pace.
What it’s like to work with me
Clients often describe me as calm, grounded and easy to talk to. I offer a predictable, sensory‑aware environment where you can pause, think, process and explore without pressure.
In our sessions, you can expect:
- clear structure and expectations
- space to slow down
- gentle pacing
- flexibility around communication
- no pressure to mask
- a focus on what feels meaningful and manageable
My aim is to help you feel safe enough to explore what’s been happening and supported enough to move toward what feels right for you.
My Approach
I am a trained Gestalt and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) therapist. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
What does this mean?
Gestalt is a relational, humanistic approach that sees a person as a whole being, shaped by their experiences and how these show up in the present moment.
CBT looks at the links between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and how these patterns can influence how someone feels day to day. CBT offers strategies to help manage life challenges.
In our first meeting, we can discuss which approach suits you; we might choose to use a mixture of both. You don’t need to understand these methods, but if you would like more, I am happy to talk about them.
BACP is a professional registered body that ensures our work together adheres to its ethical framework.
Qualifications:
- BSc (Hons) in CBT therapy
- DipHE in Gestalt therapy
- Level 2 and 3 Humanistic counselling skills
- 101 Transactional Analysis certificate
- Certificate in online and telephone counselling
